Space Station

It was all stations go in the infant room this month. We were learning all about Space. We looked at videos on how to wash your hands in space, how to brush your teeth in space and how to sleep and eat in space. 

Did you know that Aliens love underpants?

We read the book Aliens Love Underpants and they certainly do.

Role Play: we were all busy little astronauts in the Space Station. We carried out experiment, made food and made sure everything was OK in space.

We went for spacewalks and made sure to put on our spacesuits.

Writing Station: we made alien passports. We read sentences about space and wrote them on our mini whiteboards.

Junk Art: we made aliens and rockets from recyclable materials.

Construction: We made rockets using blocks and lego.

Santa's Workshop

We were busy little elves this month in the Infant Room. 

We were working very hard in Santa's Workshop. 

Again our wonderful SNA created a poem for us!

Construction: We used blocks to make mini Santa workshops and sleighs for the elves.

Art: We made funny elves and moving Santas.

Playdough: We were busy in Mrs Claus Kitchen making food for all the elves and of course the man himself, Santa.

Writing: We wrote our letters to Santa. We are all on the good list 

Design: All the design elves designed the toys before the elves in the workshop started to make them.

Role-Play: It was all go in Santa's workshop this month.

Elves were busy on the assembly  line and Quality Control.

The reindeer's needed feeding and lots of rest. 

Santa was there to make sure everything was running smoothly and going according to plan before his big trip.
