Our Visitor

Road Safety

On Wednesday 5th October Emma from the RSA visited our classroom to talk about staying safe in our cars, on the buse and when out walking or cycling.
She told us that we need to wear our seat belts, use a booster seat in the car, hold hands when we are walking to school and when crossing the road. She told us to always wear a hi-vis jacket if we are walking or cycling on footpaths.

September Hour of Play

The Gingerbread Man

September was a very busy month for all the children as we started our new Hour of Play topic. We listened to the story "The Gingerbread Man" in class and we talked a lot about all the characters the little man met as he ran away from the old man and old woman.

We were split into groups and we has so much fun retelling the story in Role Play, making the characters in Playdough, cutting, sticking and designing in Junk Art, building houses, roads, farms and gingerbread men in Construction and retelling the story and hiding the animals in Sand. Check out our pictures of all the fun we had.
