Autumn Time
We were learning all about the season autumn. We looked at lots of leaves, berries and seeds that some children collected from home.
We went on an autumn hunt around the school to find more signs of autumn.
It was great fun.

Halloween
Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween from all the children in Junior and Senior Infants . We craved out a pumpkin and played games in the GP room with the Student Council.
We really enjoyed dressing up in our costumes.

Maths Week
We celebrated Maths Week in our classroom. We went on a 2D shape hunt, did a maths trail and played lots of games with the older children during the week.
Homes and Houses
OUr October Aistear playtime was all about homes and houses. We read the story "The Three Little Pigs" and had great fun acting out this story in Role Play.
In Construction the children built the little pigs houses and in the Art area we made a house using different materials.
We learned about the types of houses in our environment and the type of house we live in.
