Junior and Senior Infants learned all about the Vets this month.
In the role play we were busy making appointments, weighing the animals, preforming operations, carrying out physical examinations and taking care of the animals post-surgery.
Construction - we made sure to put on our hi-vis jackets before we started to build our vet clinic.
Play-dough - we made animals from play-dough. We were very creative.
Small World - we were busy sorting and taking care of the farm animals.
The vet had to come to us because our farm animals were too big to bring to the pet hospital.
Writing - we designed missing posters for our pet.
Thankfully all the animals were found safe and sound.
Mrs Connolly wrote a poem entitled 'The Vet Centre.'
